I'll overwhelm 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Former twice world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
